Magnum History:
With the objective of gaining a better position within
the global market, Magnum initiated research in 2002 to
explore the possibility of starting operations in
México. Magnum specifically chose the city of Torreon,
Coahuila, primarily due to the proximity with its main
customers and the strategic location of the city.
The research concluded that Torreon would be
beneficial to both Magnum and our customers., In 2003
Magnum started working with each level of the Mexican
government to obtain all necessary permits and
regulations and established Maquinaria Magnum S de RL de
CV as a Mexican corporation.
During the last quarter of 2003 all equipment
and installing activities were completed. In
January of 2004, Maquinaria Magnum started operations,
beginning the PPAP for parts being transferred from
Magnum-Deerwood.
