General Description:
Magnum Machining is currently looking for applicants with a desire to learn CNC machining through a 1-on-1 job shadow training program.
The entry level CNC Machine Operator will work with an experienced CNC Machine operator to learn the fundamentals of CNC machining for a period up to 3 weeks. At that point the entry level machinist will move to their own machine tool while being assisted by experienced operators and production management.
This is a great way to build a skill set for a life long career.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Learn how to operate Horizontal Milling and/or Lathe Turning CNC Machine Tools
- Learn Fundamentals of CNC Machining
- Inspect product per control plans, using precision measuring tools
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Mechanical Aptitude or Experience
- Basic Math Skills
- Strong Work Ethic and Desire to advance
